Bmw X5 Soft Close Doors Not Working

The evidence was enough to cause bmw to order a new recall for the soft close.

Recently with cold weather outside 2c. 10c drivers door started to give me some trouble. It has to actually be closed like a normal door for the feature to make the noise like it is working. Ok i have searched and maybe i am just bad at it but has anyone had problems with their soft close feature.

In the morning the door will unlock and open but would not close. This happened 2 days ago and i had to drive to a bmw mechanic holding the door driving down the highway.
